Today we had our Secret Santa Luncheon at work. It was wonderful: the food was great, the gifts were creative and cool, and the company was fantastic. As always. This event has grown over the past few years, and even several of the Head Honchos get in on the action. It's one of those things that makes working at The Firm so, God, wonderful!

We had lunch at Giuseppe's in Pismo Beach. It was my first venture there, and I would highly recommend it.

We gathered in one of their banquet rooms, and had a wonderful buffet!

Afterwards we all presented our Secret Santa gifts to our "Secret Person." I received a very cool gift: The Encyclopedia of Formula One!

Seriously, how awesomely cool is that bag? I'll tell you: tres awesome!

We ended with dessert - espresso, yummy biscotti, and these decadent cannoli things:

It was all wonderful and awesome, and, well, everything! One would think that finishing up the rest of the day would've been hard, but it really wasn't. I think the espresso helped! I was quite glad to see the end of the week, however. It's been hard, despite the fact that I feel much better. The only thing I'm struggling with now is fatigue. I can make it through the work day - barely - but don't have much energy for much else. I really want to get back to Curves, but I'm not sure I'll make it before Christmas. I might just wait until afterwards to get back into my routine. Hopefully I'll be 100% by then.
