Gah! I have
so
many things to do tonight - things I normally
enjoy doing and look forward to doing, but tonight all I really want to
do is go home, snuggle down into my soft, comfy bed, and go to sleep.
But, at the same time . . .
I want, nay
need to get a pedicure! Not only have my toe nails grown so
long that they have begun to slice into my flesh whilst I sleep, but I'm
getting a little tired of the orangy-coppery colour (OPI's Relax,
You're Two Pence!) with the fancy, hand-painted design I had done the day
before Halloween. Before that I wore a lot of pinks and beiges and sandy browns and
mauves, and it's all getting very boring. So, just to be different (and get into the
"holiday spirit"), I've got a bottle of OPI's Chick
Flick Cherry - a bright and cheery red colour - waiting in the car.
However . .
.
I also want to
go to
Farmer's Market. I haven't been in a very long time,
and I usually enjoy it (until it gets crowded, then I hate it, and get
all annoyed and stuff). I have my Handspring Visor and portable keyboard
with me, so I could even do some work on my novel during dinner.
I want to try someplace different for dinner, but I usually end up at one of three place:
Big Sky, Novo, or Mission Grill. If I do go tonight, I doubt I'll stray too far off my usual
course.
Actually, I
really need to go downtown to hit
California Blonde, and see if there's any money waiting for me. (I put some
stuff on consignment a year ago, and we still haven't completed the
transaction. Time flies and I forget to call her, or I leave a message on her phone and she
doesn't get back or me, or I don't make it downtown for weeks. Lame excuses all, I know.
Gah!) Doing Farmer's Market will just be a bonus. Or mulit-tasking. Or something.
Unfortunately, I planned poorly for tonight's Alternate Adventure: I'm wearing
uncomfortable (but stylish!) shoes, and I left my black leather jacket at home. Basically,
my dogs are gonna be howling, and I'm gonna freeze. Still, the more I think about it, the
more I want to go. So I'll go downtown tonight, have dinner, do Farmers, and then stop in
to California Blonde to see where we stand.
Decision made.
I'll pedi sometime over the weekend.
