Well, since my other site is temporarily down, I will
just do my Participation Positives here:
1. This is a short week. Yay! (By only four hours Friday afternoon, but
still, that's pretty cool.)
2. I start my next writing class - writing memoirs - on Thursday evening.
3. My (other) domain should be up and running at its new home this
week! Finally, I'll be able to update using Movable Type!
4. The yellow flower bush in the backyard is blooming like crazy! This is
the most blossoms we've had off it since buying it! (will add photo later
this evening, promise!)
5. I feel pretty today: I'm wearing one of my new outfits (and the skirt is
too big - bonus!), and I got my hair cut on Friday evening, so my style
looks so much better!
This weekend was great, but, again, it came and went way too quickly.
Saturday was particularly busy with an unsuccessful trip to Home Depot in search of a new filter for our stove hood, a
more successful trip to K-mart, wherein we bought a six pack of tomato plants, two bell pepper plants, and a six pack of marigolds, and I bought myself a new toy, cuz
I'm 8, and a too successful trip to the grocery store where we bought way too much stuff. It's amazing how my
mom and I can walk in to the grocery store with a short shopping list consisting exactly of salad mix, milk, fish, and bread, and
walk out with a full cart of stuff!
Yesterday was a bit more relaxed. I slept in, visited with my grandparents for a while, spent some time online working on my new cyber home, and napped. A perfect Sunday, in my opinion!
I hope this week goes by fast! We have a half day on Good Friday, and I think I will take myself out to lunch somewhere before going home. I'm also looking forward to going to church with my grandparents on Sunday. The announcements said we might be back in the church proper this week, instead of crammed into the Community Hall next door. (The church, though retrofitted just last summer, was damaged in the San Simeon quake last December.) That will be so nice for Easter! After church, we'll probably go to Sizzler for brunch. I'm going to have to decide if I'm going to stick to my diet, or just have fun. I might just have fun. I'll have to see how strong I'm feeling that day!
for what it's worth,
Hez
