The Day After

I woke up feeling fantastic this morning, but I'm not holding my breath that I'm actually over whatever ailment I managed to aquire last week. My mom says it was just holiday-related stress, and she may be right - I was very tense over the whole Christmas with the family thing, and it may have contributed to the problem. However, I still think it was the undercooked lamb I made myself a week ago that really did it.

Anyway, Mom and I went out, and because we deserved it, we had breakfast at Starbucks - tall, nonfat gingerbread lattes, which were scrumptious, and a slice of low-fat cinnamon coffee cake (yum). We spent a ton of money on groceries, but bought nothing of nutritional value (how does that happen?), then we went home, and I collapsed in bed, napping, drinking cranberry juice like it was going out of style, and watching football all day. It was a very good day, and I'm really hoping for a very good week. The last week of 2004! Damn! Where does the time go? I still need to do a year-end recap and my 2005 Goals list. Sheesh!

Cheers!
