2005 Resolutions

New Year's Resolutions. I do them every year, and every year I fail to follow through. I've tried cutting back on the number of Resolutions I make, making them simpler, and even adding rewards for goals I've accomplished, but nothing has worked. You'd think I'd just give up and stop doing them, but you'd be wrong. So, here are my New Year's Resolutions for 2005.

1. Lose weight. (That one's obvious, non? Still, if I didn't put it down there, people would be looking at my fat ass wondering why I didn't resolve to lose weight. So, this is really for them not me.)

2. Read the Bible. Everyday. Without fail.

3. Sell all my crap on Ebay.

4. Stop biting my nails and chewing on my cuticles. (Yeah, sorry, that one's gross, but I really need to break this bad habit!)

5. Do more stuff for fun - photography, writing, stamping. I don't want to just do those things because I "have" to, i.e. taking pictures at a Firm Function (while that's fun, it's kinda like work, too), taking a writing class or stamping greeting cards, I want to do them "just because" as well.

I think I'll leave it at five. They seem doable and hopefully 2005 will be the year I actually keep my Resolutions!

Cheers!
