My mom and I debated last week over whether or not we would bother decorating the house. In the end, we decided to put up the tree and a few decorations. We dragged out the bins of Christmas decorations from the garage, poured up some light eggnog, put Clay Aiken's new Christmas CD on the stereo, and decorated. I'm glad we did! The tree looks lovely and festive, and it's just not Christmas without the Nativity, now is it? No, of course it isn't! We put up a few other little things as well, and now our house is looking cheerful and Christmassy.
