Tree Trimming

Tonight we had our annual Tree Trimming Party at The Firm. It was lovely and wonderful and fun, as usual. The kids - there are tons of them now that we've got so many new people working for us - had a terrific time decorating the tree, and by the end of the evening, it looked gorgeous and festive! The food and drink were fantastic as well, and the company, well, how can you go wrong when you already enjoy hanging out with the people you work with? I'll tell you: you can't.

We had an ornament exchange as well, which is done in an organized and orderly fashion, and where stealing is not only allowed, it's encouraged. I scored a really lovely ceramic heart, which luckily wasn't stolen, though there was actually quite a lot of stealing going on. There were tons of totally awesome ornaments! I must say, everyone here has impecable taste!

When I got home, my mom told me to plug in the Christmas tree lights. We had decorated over the weekend, and all was right with the world, but when I plugged them in later Sunday evening, the lights suddenly didn't work. Well, mom tweaked a few of the bulbs today, and now it works again! Yay! No redoing the tree!

So, now I'm watching the end of the Cowboys/Seahawks game. I really thought the 'hawks would pull out a win, but it wasn't meant to be. It was an exciting game, though, which, for me anyway, can be even more fun that watching my favourite team win.
