More Time for Fun

In an effort to get my chores and projects done as quickly as possible, I've taken a couple vacation days, which, combined with the President's Day 3-day weekend, will give me five days in a row of uninterrupted "Clean Sweep"ing, organizing, reinforcing, yard working, and general getting-stuff-done time. Well, four. I've set aside one of those days as a "Fun Day." I'm hoping the bedside table I ordered from Ikea will arrive by then, so I can put it together and see if it's what I really really want. I've also got the one two-drawer Q-bit coming from Target around the same time. Even though I decided against the Q-bits as bedroom furniture, I think I'll keep it just the same. It'll be good additional storage in my closet.

All this "Stuff to Do" has inspired a new list. It's insane how much I enjoy making lists! It must be my Capricorn nature!

I'm looking forward to getting all this boring, horrible crap out of the way early this year, so I can spend the rest of my free time playing! Going to the beach, going hiking, visiting Jewel and Thelly - fun stuff!

for what it's worth,
Hez

Reading: You've Got to Read This ed. by Ron Hansen. This week's stories are "Goodbye, My Brother" by John Cheever, and "Paper Garden" by Jerome Wilsom, as well as three short stories submitted by classmates.

Classic Book: Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens.

Previously: Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Listening to: Nothing.

Writing: I've decided to just revamp an old fanfic I did a couple years ago and submit that. I've just changed the names of the two characters, but otherwise have left the story untouched. It's something at least.

Gratitude: Making lists!!!
