Thank you, Father God in Heaven!
I found my camera last
night. I was just dozing off - all snuggled down in my bed, cozy and relaxed and
ready for sleep - when it hit me, not exactly like a voice, but I did
hear these words in my head: did you check your mom's car? Why, no. As a matter of fact, I
hadn't.
I jumped out of bed, and without even bothering to slip on my Birkies, I
went out into the garage, and opened the driver's side door to my mom's car.
There, in the little space above the stereo, the little shelf where one might put
their mints, lip balm, ATM reciepts and old grocery lists, was my ELPHie! And,
that's when I remembered that I'd gone out to take the picture of the rosemary
(seen above) before going grocery shopping Sunday morning, not before
going up to my grandparent's that afternoon. Rather than run it back into the
house, I just took it with me, then left it in the car. I guess I'm lucky no one broke
into the car and stole it while we were shopping.
I immediately ran into the den
and downloaded the rosemary photo, resized it, and uploaded it online. Then, of
course, I had to play a couple rounds of Solitare, and sat in
front of the Bookworm
Game for a bit, so, so much for my great plan for sleeping!
At least the Beast Behind the Back Fence was quiet, so when I finally did
get to bed, I managed to sleep well.
And today is Friday. Thank God!
for what it's worth,
Hez
