Actually, I'm contemplating staying overnight in Santa Barbara Sunday evening, then doing some shopping and browsing Monday before going home. SB is only a two hour drive, so even if I don't leave till four in the afternoon, I'll still get home at a decent hour. Hmm. That's a thought alright.
Looking at the calendar for the rest of my summer is pretty exciting, too: I have a half day on Monday the 28th for a dental appointment (which won't take the whole half day, but I don't feel like driving all the way back to SLO to work for just a couple hours after having my teeth scraped), and we get the fifth of July off for the Independence Day holiday. Then in August, is JournalCon! September has a three-day weekend, as does November, which also has Thanksgiving, and then it's Christmas, then it's 2005! Holy cow! Where did the year go?
Sorry, I'm jumping way too far ahead of myself. I'm just so excited about all the fun stuff coming up! It never seems to end! Best to just slow down, take a deep breath, and take it one event at a time. First up: graduation. Then the paralegal conference, visit with Jewel and possible shopping in SB. That's it. That's enough excitement for right now!
