In that jar of golden delight right up there is the best tasting honey in the whole wide world! It's DeeDee's honey, made by the bees on her and her hubby's ranch. She brought it in when she stopped to say good-bye on Tuesday. Yesterday Spunky Gillian of the Perpetual Smile and Sunshiny Disposition baked up some biscuits so we could all have biscuits and honey. Holy Lord! It was scrumptious! Hopefully DeeDee and Hubby will get more bees to make more honey so they can sell it. I'd totally buy honey from DeeDee's Bees!
My creative writing class was really good last night. You can read more about it here, if you're interested. I volunteered to bring in my story next week. It's still not finished. I still have no idea where I'm going with it. I'm still trying not to panic.
Actually, I got an idea during class last night, and I'm going to try writing it out, and seeing what happens. If it works, I'll clean it up and go with it. If not, I'll try something else. I'm very tempted to just write a whole new story. Start over from scratch. Maybe use one of the starts I've written using the One Word prompts. Or maybe I'll just do some free writing this weekend, and see what, if anything, comes up.
Tonight I'm supposed to go to Curves, but Aunt Flo showed up this morning, so I don't think I'll go. Instead, I think I'll try to find the text for the memoir writing class I'm taking next month, and see if there are any new CDs I simply must have. It's been a while since I've bought a new CD. Actually, it's been a while since I've bought any new useless stuff! I guess this whole "Clean Sweep"ing thing is really getting to me!
Speaking of which, Saturday mom and I will be putting the finishing touches on my new bedroom furniture, then I can start stacking my remaining CDs and books on my new shelves. I've been really very happy with the Q-bits I bought! I love the look and the style of them, plus they're sturdy, well built pieces. It's nice to have my room finally done and organized! We're still waiting for word on the craft armoire we ordered last month, and really hope it arrives in the next week or so, so we can start putting that together. Once we get it done, and get all our craft supplies organized, we'll be able to spend more time doing fun things like crafting, stamping, or paper making, or going places like Avila Beach, Cambria or Santa Barbara. I'm looking forward to having a lot of fun this summer!
for what it's worth,
