Wasted Time So instead of going to Curves for my workout, I printed the coupon, and headed over to the Target center to see what cute stuff Fashion Bug might have. Their online catalogue had several cute things I was hoping to find, but none of those cute things were in the store. Well, okay, some of those cute things were in the store, just not in my current size. So, I wandered around for a few minutes, then left empty handed, and headed down to Target. Strike two. Target is usually good to me, but today. There was nothing - nothing for fat girls anyway. The skinny girls had a smorgasbord of cute clothes to choose from, but we fatties were S.O.L. There was a silk suit that I was quite interested in, but the only colours they had were black - which I love, but have enough of, thank you very much - and red. I contemplated the red, but in the end decided against it. Red is a very iffy colour for me; it could look great, or it could look horrible. It's almost impossible to tell which way it will go in a fluorescently-lit department store, and even more so when there are no mirrors about. So, I left Target empty-handed, too, and came home to drown my sorrows in an overly healthy dinner: a couple slices of broiled sirloin roast, steamed broccoli and a glass of ice water. I would have much preferred a cheeseburger and fries with a chocolate shake, but . . . well, that wouldn't have helped. Much.
