Recently Eliza did an update entry, and I really liked the format. So I stole borrowed it. Enjoy!

Work  Work is awesome. I love my job, and I love the people I work with. I’ve developed a routine, the stability and familiarity of which I enjoy, and have recently been branching out and learning new things. Some days are really super busy, some days are kinda slow, but every day is interesting and despite having a routine, it’s never really the same.

Bus  I love riding the bus to work – I’ve mentioned this before, but I thought I’d say it again. I’m pounding through my library of purchased-in-bulk-but-never-had-time-to-read books in record time, and even manage to catch a catnap on the way home. I recognize the faces of the other “regulars”, and although I don’t know their names, always greet them at the bus stop or when they get on: “Hey, how ya doin’?” “Have a great day!” “See you tomorrow!” The Cuesta kids are back from break and are as adorably annoying as ever. I enjoy their antics and am irritated by them at the same time.

Home & Garden  Things at home are going well. The lawn has been growing like mad since mom fertilized it a few weeks ago, and then it kept raining and raining and raining. Every week we’re out there hacking at it with a machete (okay, not really, but almost!), but it keeps coming back. The plants and shrubs in the backyard have grown a lot, too, and will take at least an afternoon of my time to tame. The large, obnoxious bush in the back will be coming out some time this summer, we’ve decided, and I couldn’t be happier. This weekend mom and I will start buying our plants for the garden – tomatoes and peppers for sure and maybe some squash and cucumbers and lettuces.

TV  I watch way too much reality TV. WAY too much! 24, Lost and Doctor Who are about the only “regular” TV shows I watch nowadays (not counting soaps). I had a slight panic attack the other day when I realized that Survivor, The Amazing Race, and American Idol are almost finished. Whatever will I do? Luckily Project Runway is returning soon, and I suppose I could always start watching that Blow Out show, although that Jonathan person is beyond irksome. I will not, however, watch Big Brother, if that show is even on this summer. I simply refuse. I can’t stand that show, and I swear I will not become that desperate!

Stuff I Haven’t Been Doing  1. Writing. I haven’t written anything of worth in ages. Nothing inspires me. I want to write all the time, but every time I try, nothing comes out. 2. Photography. Well, I did just recently do a quick series of the Mission, but that’s about it. I just seem to take pictures of the same stuff all the time, and I don’t know about you, but I’m getting bored out of my mind. Not really inspired there, either. 3.  Stamping. I just don’t stamp anymore. The reason is my computer, this journal, my other website, all my online friends and forum-visiting. There’s no time left for stamping. However, I have decided to make time. How? I don’t know. All I know is I always enjoyed stamping, and I’d like to do it again.  Cheers!
