Last Friday we had our annual Toys for Tots drive at work. It was great fun as usual, and we ended up with a lot of awesome toys to donate to the cause. As with previous years, we were randomly assigned a coworker at a certain age, and had to buy a toy we though they might’ve played with when they were that age. I had a seven-year-old girl, and found a really fun friendship bracelet making kit. Now, I honestly don’t know if that’s what my assigned coworker would’ve enjoyed or played with when she was seven; really, I was just thinking about the child who will be getting this gift. I imagine a little girl hanging out with her friends in her bedroom making and exchanging friendship bracelets, giggling and listening to Kidz Bop, or something like that. It’s a pretty picture in my head. Whether or not it’s going to come true I haven’t a clue.

For my gift, I was 17, and whomever got me knows me very well! This would’ve been exactly what I wanted at that age!
