As freaky and weird as it was, last night’s thunder and lightning storms were pretty fun and exciting! I’ve always liked a good summer thunderstorm, but we don’t get them in this area; I’ve kinda missed ‘em. However, it got a bit old after the first couple storms passed over us, and storm after storm after storm blew in, lightning streaking across the sky, thunder booming and shaking the house, and rain - yes rain! – pouring down out of the sky. I got little sleep – no one did – and wandered around like a zombie at work. Luckily I had plenty to keep me busy, so I didn’t fall asleep!

Here’s a few shots of the cloudy sky I snapped when I got up this morning. Enjoy!
