<p>Holy cow! The honeydew melon plants are so big I have to stand back to get it all in the shot! Our one good-sized melon is still growing, but now it has a split in it. I don&#8217;t know if that&#8217;s from a pest or just a natural occurance. I hope it&#8217;ll still be okay.</p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/honeydewplants.jpg" /></p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/melon1.jpg" /></p>
<p>The zucchini looks worse this week. We&#8217;re still getting some squash, but many more have just up and died.</p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/zucchiniplants.jpg" /></p>
<p>I swear these cucumbers are just popping up overnight! Just look at the size of that one!</p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/cucumberplants.jpg" /></p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/cucumber.jpg" /></p>
<p>The pepper plants have perked up a bit. One side has grown so much, we&#8217;ve had to prop it up on an overturned bucket to keep it from breaking off.</p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/pepperplants.jpg" /></p>
<p>We&#8217;re going to have tomatoes coming out our ears very soon!</p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/tomatoplants.jpg" /></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a shot of this week&#8217;s harvest:</p>
<p><img src="http://self-portrait.net/2007/july/gardening/072607/072507harvest.jpg" /></p>
<p>Yum!</p>
