Yes, it’s that time of year again:

And, yes, I’ve signed up to do it. When I’m going to find the time to write a <strike>deep, meaninful, thought-provoking </strike>… oh, who am I kidding, a minimum 50 word entry per day in between work, the commute, making Christmas cards, attending baby showers and Christmas parties, AND, most importantly of all, hitting the gym for my workouts four days a week, I’ll never know. But, I am going to try.

I’ve been wanting to try harder with my journal for some time. I feel it slipping away, and I don’t want to lose it. We’ve been together for so long (it will be 8 years this coming April)! I’m trying to come up with a theme or concept or something I could use to make it interesting to read yet easy to update regularly, but I haven’t thought of anything. Except pictures. I could post a lot of pretty pictures and photo entries, but really, I’ve been doing that since early summer, and I’m not sure they’re all that entertaining. So. I dunno. I can’t really talk about work/people I work with, because people I work with (and even some I don’t) at work know about my website, and well, we all know what could happen if I talk about work too much. (Besides, it’s really not all that interesting, particularly to the lay-folk!) I also don’t want to spend too much time on my new routine at the gym with the TrainerDude, because that would make this a “diet/fitness journal”, and I’m not sure I want to go there, either.

Maybe I’ll work it all out this coming month. I really want to start the New Year fresh, exciting and new!!

Stay tuned …
