Gardening in November? Why, Yes.

The garden is slowly fading away. And, yet, many of the plants refuse to give up the ghost. We’re still getting tomatoes and bell peppers and even a few eggplant, though the latter don’t look all that great.

 

Except for this one eggplant, which is absolutey beautiful, and will end up in my spaghetti squash sauce this weekend.

 There are flowers still blooming as well. Go figure.

And this green bell pepper we brought in a couple weeks ago (which has or had something living in it) has started to turn red! I didn’t know they did that after they were off the vine!

And, here’s today’s harvest:

It’s supposed to freeze sometime this weekend, but we’re not going to bother covering anything up. If the plants survive, awesome. If not, oh, well. After all, it’s nearing the end of November! The time for gardening has ended! Hasn’t it?
