Despite the freezing temperatures we’ve experienced overnight these past few weeks and the fact that we haven’t watered anything in at least as much time, this hearty little plant continues to flower in my back garden. So pretty! So persistant!

I know I said earlier that I was planning to shut down self-portrait.net because … well, for many reasons really – 1) I don’t have much time to write, 2) my life isn’t interesting enough to write about, and 3) it’s too difficult to come up with stuff for this site AND my blog – so I planned to just stick with the blog. But, who knows? Maybe I’ll change my mind. It’s a new year. Maybe self-portrait.net will become a new journal. An experimental journal. Or something. We’ll see.

Holidailies has been fun, though I wish I’d written more. I wish I’d written better. I wish a lot of things. But, no matter what I decide to do with this journal in 2008, if Holidailies is held again next year (of course I mean this year!), I’ll be writing in it. In this journal. So, until next year … cheers!
